We're a small town. This is a small town parade. It's filled with nice friendly folks - neighbours. It takes on a meaning and an importance because of the effort and the involvement. The highlight is Santa Clause who arrives by helicopter compliments of a local business. His coming is wonderfully anticipated. This year he forgot his hat; his wife had to bring it to him. This delayed the parade by about fifteen minutes. Santa Clause isn't all that different from the rest of us.

It was a very wonderful parade! It's so nice to see everyone out on such a marvelous day to such a community event.
Congratulations to everyone who participated and to all who put in time on float construction. Particular accolades to the Pasadena Volunteer Fire Department who did the Polar Express. That's the best float I've seen in local parades in years. Good on ya! And all the chilluns on the floats and those enjoying the floats and enjoying Santa make this community effort very worthwhile.
